Two-of-a-kind Route Names

How about two routes, same name, same FA?? |
|
|
"sins of the flesh," one by Louie Anderson in the riverside quarry, one in new hampshire somewhere FA'd by someone else. "grotesque old woman" and "Mister Witty" both are names that Chris Leube recycled several times in different climbing areas. |

Lincoln Swrote: The one in New Hampshire says it was FA’d be Lee Hansche… |

Father and Son, 5.7 at Red River Gorge “Father and Son” 8b+ in Val Bavona, Switzerland, not worthy a mountain project entry |

There is a Forbidden Zone, 11b R in the Lost City area of the gunks. There is also a Forbidden Zone, 12c R in the Near Trapps area of the gunks. I think both were FA'd in the same time period by people who were aware of whichever route came first, so it seems particularly odd that they would choose to use the same name. |

Went looking for "Beginner's Delight" and found 3, but not the one at my local crag. "Afternoon Delight" turned up about 30 routes and boulders combined! And -- having the same idea as Alan -- I found about 10 named "Balrog" including the 10b Gunks put up by McCarthy and Goldstone. |
