This GoDaddy Commercial

Youtubes keeps showing me this ad and it just leaves with so many questions. I do not climb big wall, can someone tell me what they are doing? Are they top roping the big wall? Is this a move you do while big wall climbing? It reminds me of the partner climbs they set in the gym around valentines.

Never ever think that climbing shown in a commercial is remotely accurate. 

OMG! I wish I had seen these comments when this came out. I told the director that these moves were unrealistic and he said NONE OF THIS IS REALISTIC YOU RAPPEL INTO THE CITY AND YOUR FRIENDS CLOTHES RIP OFF AND THEN YOURE IN THE DESERT! I didn't actually climb and this isn't a climbing area. I was set up on a mechanical winch and they just pulled me up and down the rock. I was paid well and fed great, 10/10 would do again.

LOL, glad you revived this thread. Glad the climbers were well treated even if climbing wasn’t. 

The lend a helping hand shot, the wife and I did a commercial shoot day back in 02-3 $300 bucks was good pay for a short day, photographer "I know you never reach down to help another climber but banks eat that up... so we need the shot".  Pretty sweet gig about as easy as paid climbing/guiding type work gets.
