Climbing guidebook please! Go again. (I started skiing the ridge in '81!). |

Domelands. Part of the great Southern Sierra Climbing Guidebooks series. |
|

Identify the one on the left, with the identifying text blocked out with old Clog nuts. Domelands on the right because I didn’t see that Chad had given the confirmation and I wanted to keep the thread going.

Correct. Third edition. You’re up! |

Boston Rocks
Reached post limit so adding the next one here. Continuing with the theme of including older gear, albeit with a much newer guidebook. |
|
|
Now someone needs to post Boston Rolls, the buildering accompaniment to Boston Rocks. |

House of Hyalite. Nice ID on the LONGware. What's the pin on the bottom in your pic? |

ClimbingOnwrote: Nailed it! Both the bolt hanger and the piton are LONGware. |

Ah, I should have known it was LONGware. Since I correctly identified the book does that mean I win the piton? ;) Here’s another fairly modern ice guide with LONGware covering the identifying text. Catskills 2nd edition it is. Petzl, you’re up. |
|
|
catskills second edition ? |

ClimbingOnwrote: Nope...! Last time I climbed in the Catskills, I crossed he Hudson a week before "the miracle". Looked cold! 2004 edition. Marty Molitoris. Petzl beat me to the punch! |

the catskills are amazing. woodstock, woodstock 94, woodstock 99, and all of the years prior where plattekill would have more than 46” on the season (not to mention Bobcat). so did i kill this thread again with an unimportant and canadian guidebook? |

petzl logicwrote: Well, I figured it was Canadian from your coverage hints! But maybe more hints are needed? |

Yeah, looks like Quebec but I'm stumped. |
|

Probably one if the Ontario limestone guides but don’t know which one. |
