Best post-climbing food at popular climbing areas?

I just got back from a trip to EPC, and my friends and I were talking about the best post-climbing food at various popular climbing areas, based loosely on price, proximity, sense of community, and (of course) deliciousness.

Top tier:

  • El Portrero Chico: taco stands
  • Red River Gorge: Miguel's pizza

Pretty Good:

  • Boulder: Southern Sun, Indian food
  • Lander: Lander Bar

Meh:

  • RMNP / Estes Park
  • Red Rocks

Any other noteworthy areas with great post-climbing food?

The only benefit to bailing on a RMNP route is getting to Donut Haus before they are sold out

Redpoint Inn, Jasper TN. Right near Foster Falls, Dennys Cove, and Castle Rock. Pizza is miles better than miguels

No long route in RMNP is complete without an avocado margarita at Ed’s Cantina.

It’s pre-climb but cragging at Index without stopping at the Sultan Bakery is tough!

There is now a Lotus of Siam at the Red Rock Casino. LofS is arguably one of the best Thai restaurants in the country. The original on Sahara Ave always had hour+ waits *if* they were able to accommodate walk-ins.

There's also Raku Grill ( https://www.raku-grill.com/copy-of-aburiya-raku-3 ) which is just spectacular.

True, neither of these satisfy the community aspect, but for great food not on the strip and relatively near Red Rock they can't be beat.

There are an increasing number of decent places for a post-Gunks meal in New Paltz, but closer to the cliffs, Emil’s Brauhaus has a very long tradition of being a climbers’ favorite.

Gunk’s  burger!
the old Bavarian in across the way was the 1st bar I’d ever been in, they or the guys I was with had no idea how young I was!

Chez Joey was also a great mainstay.

Rip, the day the pizza died, see below

The best thing after a long day in Zion is getting beer and food at Oscars Cafe in Springdale

And it’s not even close, redpoint is damn good. I’d put rockhouse a good bit ahead of miguel’s too

Dornan’s after climbing in Grand Teton National Park. Buy a bottle of wine or some tall beers and bring them up onto the patio. Food is ok but you can’t beat the view.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
