Findings:
While there is a slight negative correlation it is not substantial. Of greater note is that the line of best fit in all cases lies within the ‘healthy’ 18.5-24.9 range, this suggests that maintaining a low BMI is not necessary for climbing hard.
For a 5.13 climber, the outliers are around 27 BMI

Which is my BMI (heavy in the caboose) and I'm a unit of a person. With a little training could I then join the 1,000lb club? Maybe. It does give us an idea on how much muscle mass one could put on, and still climb at a given level.
I do think this information is a little self-selecting though, as the numbers come from Lattice, so we're already talking about data from/about climbers, and not just general athletes, nor power lifters who just so happen to climb. Interesting, nonetheless.
