Hey some of us Americans appreciate the harness belay. Many an awkward, too-far-back-from the edge tree anchor has been remedied this way in my experience. Plus if it's done right I get to sit with my feet over the edge and enjoy the view from the top while I belay.

Took some first timers out just this last weekend, they all work in research science, and they asked if there are objective criteria that the grades are based on.

Request to redo the scale above but in cam/crack sizes as they relate to pain scale of climbing said cam/crack size - ie: "4" (fist) no pain at all! .4 (tips) "Worst pain possible"
