There's a guy that walks around Shelf with a pack of 12 or so dogs. Hard to actually count because there's so many of them. The dogs come barreling through and I just think it's hilarious. People freaking out and dogs going nuts. I don't even think the guys climbs but I could be wrong. It's a good time.

We think Kelpie pit mix. We say she is an OBD…Oakland Black Dog.

We got her from the pound at about 9 months old. She is a very good girl.

My dog just judges other dogs and everyone’s beta

Her Royal Highness, The Rat. She’s fine as long as there aren’t too many peasants around. Therefore she does not bless the crag with her presence.

Sam dog and the rat. She is not pleased with his proximity to Her Royal Highness. When Sam was younger you could point to any rock with a less than vertical slope and he’d get up it, but not at the crag. I would take him deep into the backcountry hiking where there were no other people. Now he’s old and finds the stairs to be adventurous enough. 

The Rat dog looks cool as can be, no normal person could consider stabbing that dog

It’d be too much work to stab the Rat, she is very quick and agile. But she is a jerk and I keep her away from people because she is a very kickable height. If left to her own devices she will bark obnoxiously at any human she does not deem worthy, and that list is short. There are people she has known her whole life who she still barks and howls at every time they move.

the key to a long and happy life for the little territorial punters is agility.

Haha the crag dogs are winning.
