What state has the best climbing and DMV?

I'm thinking about moving and am looking for a state that has the best climbing and DMV. On second thought, I don't care about the climbing all that much, but the DMV needs to be a 4 star classic. |

CA climbing is a dream, and the DMV is a nightmare. |

What's DMV? Department of Motor Vehicles? |

I've heard that North Korea has tons of untapped climbing potential, and a great DMZ. |

100% serious, the DMV experience in WA has been a dream. This is the 4th state I’ve gotten a license/registered a car in, so I feel like I have some basis when saying that. The climbing is ok too I guess. |

In LA go to the WeHo dmv, not Culver City. |

Pro-California-DMV-Office tip: you can schedule a DMV visit at ANY CA DMV office. I learned to pick a DMV office in a small town some 50 miles from me. On appointment day my door-to-door time is less than the waiting period at any closer DMV office, plus I get a great drive up into the foothills out of the bargain. On my last visit, when I got my RealID license, it was mid-week 11 AM kind of day, and I was the only customer in the building when I got there. SCORE! |

Nathan Doylewrote: It's a fucking nightmare. I had to go through months of tests, classes and practice in order to get my Spanish drivers license even though I have been driving for 18 years. Land of bureaucracy. They say that Spain has more rules for driving them any other country in Europe.... |
