We hired a commercial van and tent camped- much cheaper than camper vans. You can get lots in the back depending on size and we took rode and mountain bikes, our alpine stuff and full rack for Orco granite near Milan. unless you climb 8a give Arco a miss and head to Dolomites - good warm up area is Cinc Torre. Mostly goodish  rock and you can summit  all towers. Month of May could have snow for the very high Dolomites peaks.

Hello Cesar and anybody else interested in the Dolomites. I am a Californian who fell in love with the area many years ago. I recently bought an attic apartment in the geographic center of the eastern dolomites. It's in a tiny historic village called Sottoguda. Multi Pitch is everywhere and I agree with the folks who say the dolomites are about long trad more than single pitch. I am happy to share the space when I am there or rent it when I am not (it's very affordable for American standards and in an amazing location). Honestly, as much as I love my place, the Dolomites are best explored through the use of the Refugios. Feel free to contact me for general beta or if you need a place to stay. furnituremaker3@gmail.com.............................................................. oh, did I say I lead hut to hut via ferrata trips in the summer, and don't forget the skiing is out of this world. There is already a ton of snow. I'll be there mid feb to mid march, come on down.

Looking to potentially do a 2 Night hiking Loop and stay at two Refugios and climb a route or two along the way.

Hillel, I'll probably email you for beta but thought I'd post here  for any recommendations.

Are any of you guys available in September?  I’ll be in the Dolomites (Cortina and Val Gardena area Sep 4-26th. I’ll be mainly doing via ferratas and hiking but I don’t want to leave without climbing ! I was there about 4 years ago- it’s amazing. Im looking to sport climb at a few areas ( ex: Saas Dlacia and Sella pass) Im usually comfortable leading mid-11’s but will follow whatever.

would love company on via ferratas and mountain biking too if you’re up for it!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
