Is JTree a free for all dumpster fire?

We are 13 pages in, where is the picture of the dumpster fire in jtree? Pics or it didn’t happen right?

The RTT bro "camped" literally right in front of the dumpster. Its so crowded that we can't see the dumpster fire for the a-holes. Very meta. Facebook-dumpster-fire Meta.

But Andrew has a point... who doesn't like to roll into the park at 5am, park by the dumpster, and snooze in the RTT until the garbage truck arrives?

I‘m no Jigsaw Jones but it looks like Chimney Rock in the background meaning that the shadow would be coming from Intersection Rock…no?

Matt posted a photo with a circle showing the exact spot the car is parked on the previous page.

Formation showing above the tent is Intersection Rock. Photo shows the south/east face. This route is visible: https://www.mountainproject.com/route/105839311/southeast-corner

Formation in the distance to the left is Turtle Rock.

The shadow they are in would have to come from Cyclops or one of the smaller formations near it.

They are not parked at Intersection Rock. The google maps view shows that there are no parking spaces like that in the Intersection Rock lot. The only spots in the park with that shape are for .... dumpsters.

Im confused I thought the RTT was the dumpster therefore it should be on fire.

While you're sleuthing don't be so quick to dismiss the possibility that the shadow is from a UFO or a passing blimp, also. Cyclops and such are pretty far from that road. I'm going with UFO. Or a tour bus.

Correct.  Just looked it up.  The perp DID kill two others, however. 2015.  Messed up.

This is probably the best explanation of all. 

Maybe the real dumpster fire is the friends we made along the way.

Dumpster fire as metaphor, yes, been this way for years just like all other major destinations that lack enough enforcement.

That’s morning light. The sun would be setting right about at the left side of the photo. In addition this was taken in or near winter so the sun rises much lower in the horizon. By May the right ski track will get morning sun. The graphic with the sun exposure time was accurate.

Regardless, we can pretend that they set up their RTT innocently to hang out near sunrise, but I would agree based on spending many weekends in the park the last few years that this is most likely exactly as it appears to be - and if not him the other 10 cars you drove past doing the same thing.
