It's not an achievement or brag-worthy for most people, but I sent my first 5.12a. I got it on my second try, which means I should probably try to climb harder when I'm outside...

Bonus: It was in BoCan, so I can send my first (actual) 5.12 again next year

I built a home spray wall, and it has over 60 routes on it, most of which are really fun!

I also got on the Diamond, which was loads of fun, even if we got our butts handed to us. We avoided sketchy shenanigans of others for the most part, though, which is an achievement in and of itself. Training for Longs was loads of fun, so I'll probably still get out and climb like I'm training for it even if I put off another attempt until 2023...

In 2021 I was leading at my physical limit despite suffering from PTSD from a nasty fall in 2020. And I just scheduled my first counseling session to deal with mentioned PTSD. Currently I am out from climbing due to a tfcc tear, but my goal in 2022 is to once again enjoy leading at my physical limit.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
