Aspen/Basalt/Rifle area partners needed

Going to be spending the rest of summer in the Roaring Fork (Basalt, specifically) and looking for climbing partners.

About me: 20ish years of climbing experience. Competent and fit, but took some time off due to covid, so I'm looking forward to getting back on the sharp end and rebuilding all that lost strength and endurance. I'm probably leading 11 to 12a on bolts right now and 10 on gear. I'm free on weekends and the occasional week day. I work east coast hours so I'm usually done with work by 2-3pm so afternoons are great as well. Vaccinated. Attentive belayer, licensed EMT, pretty good mountain sense all around. At least, I like to think so.

I like all kinds of climbing but gravitate to trying hard on sport climbing and long trad/alpine climbs. I'll even go bouldering. I have all the gear necessary and then some. Capable 4x4 vehicle. No crashpads though, sold them off before I moved. Drop me a line if you'd like to rope up and climb some rocks.

Hey Jon, I also live and work in the valley and looking for regular partners.  I work as a guide between rifle and buena vista, AMGA certified, and WFR certified.  Looks like we’re climbing similar grades and want to climb similar styles.  I’m projecting around mid to hard 12s on bolts and trying to break into harder 10s and moderate 11s on gear.  I’m up for sport, multi pitch trad, alpine, bouldering, pretty much whatever.  I’ve got all the gear and know the area pretty well overall.  Feel free to reach out, cheers!

Hey all! I just moved to the valley about a month ago and am looking for more consistent partners. I work in Glenwood one day a week, and up in Aspen 3 days a week. Free evenings, weekends, and Mondays for now. Have over 15 years of climbing experience. Also not an a-hole. I’m guiding in rifle on Thursday until noon, if anybody is around I would be down to get on some routes the rest of the afternoon.  I’ve been working pinch fest in the ruckman cave but there’s some other really good moderates in that area.

Hey all, I’ve been checking out the crags and soloing easy routes or bouldering, hopping to find some climbing partners. I’ve been in the valley a few years and always down to get out. 20yrs climbing exp, Lead 5.9-10 follow most anything up to 5.12ish, trad, sport, adventure or whatever.

Yo yo! I wanted to add myself to this MP thread. I work in Frisco during the week days but am free after 3:30pm, my weekends are free. I'm definitely trying to get out to Rifle on weekends and once The Black Canyon season is in swing I'll be wanting to go there. No one has mentioned it yet but once it's not really rock season I'm also keen to go swing some tools. I guess a little info about me. I've taken the first AMGA RGC course, WFR Cert, not an a-hole and have about 5 years of climbing experience. I'm generally excited about all climbing. I feel comfortable leading 11+/12- on gear, am wanting to try 12+/13- on bolts and don't own crash pads but will definitely go with you.

Also wanna add my name to this thread. Will be in the basalt/aspen/Carbondale area till the end of this week 8/29. When I’m not hiking 14ers, would live to climb.
