We stopped in a Walmart in Cody to get some extra bug spray, and came across this… never seen climbing gear in Walmart before!

Climbing has always been mainstream - climbers themselves have been, and are, conventional and conforming. Actually, Walmart seems a bit "edgy" for climbing.

"best used for indoor gyms and moderate outdoor climbing."

So you can whip in the on that orange 13+ all day if you want, but don't you dare get Heinous Cling at Smith Rock!

Walmart stocks based on what's popular in the area. so more points to climbing demand in Cody.

I'm not gonna lie. The "left" and "right" labeled leg loops are a game changer.

My freakin Cheap ass BD harness hasn’t got a colored belay loop.  Always wondered why it was so difficult to use.

C’mon, it’s not like it causes cancer.  Oh wait a minute…

Walmart also sells a kneebar pad, which is somehow 1000x worse.

Eh, that's a California thing. Those labels are on everything, because it's cheaper than finding out that your product actually does cause cancer.

This actually makes no sense to me, as I believe that Moosejaw is owned by Walmart.  Why wouldn't they just stock Moosejaw?

At least they aren't doing any assembling like they do with the bikes they sell, those things are super sketchy!

I love the twist on the leg loop/belay loop!

Whoever put that harness together doesn't know their left from right.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
