Hi all,

I'm going to build a small home wall and will need to stock it up with holds! If anyone has old/used holds they're willing to sell for cheap, let me know. Preferably smaller holds: crimps, pockets, small pinches, etc. Otherwise, I'm not picky. Thanks!

Take a look at synrock holds as well - they're like $4 a piece and I've heard really good things. Will likely pick up a set myself. Robinhood Climbing has a really good value home wall set as well, though the holds are all very vanilla

+ synrock, not the most visually stunning holds, but the texture is easier on the skin and a hell of a lot longer lasting, they don’t get polished like plastic holds do (though they weigh a ton)

I literally just got done climbing on my new Synrock holds for the first time. Bought a mini-jug set last Thursday and they arrived this afternoon. First impression is that they are as good as advertised, especially if you are looking for a lot of holds without spending a ton of money. Not flashy, but a good variety of shapes and sizes.

Another vote for Synrock, my favorite holds by far. Have had them on two different home walls. My only real complaint is you have to be a bit gentle with them in terms of tightening, since they can crack.

Just have to be the one person dissenting from the praise from Synrock. I spent over $300 on holds from them and regret every penny. In about a year, half of them have shattered (following the fastening instructions provided on the website.) The texture is subpar from anything I'd expect from a non-amateur shaper. I previously worked as a setter for 5+ years, so I feel like I have some knowledge on what a decent hold should offer. Synrock is total crap.

Jacob, check out bulk holds and seconds from companies like Escape, Element, even Groperz. Ebay is also a great resource.
