I've driven past the turnout for frustration creek each of the past four weekends and each time have been a little stunned to see multiple cars parked there and verifying with a quick look that there are people climbing.
Climbing always includes objective hazards, but at the risk of sounding nanny-like, I figured I'd pop in to point out that a drainage of 3k ft of notoriously unstable mountain above the crags burned, virtually in its entirety, a few weeks ago. For years, those crags are going to be at the mouth of a funnel, above which numerous square miles of steep, rugged terrain will be coughing up rocks and plant debris of all shapes and sizes with predictable regularity.
