No, nothing here, just time to start a new thread. Again!

Let's stay civil, and attempt to keep with giving/receiving, not requesting, as the original idea was this.

GIVE ON!

thanks for starting a new thread

can you 'unstick' the old thread to the top of the for sale section, and 'sticky' this thread there instead?  apologies to ask...i don't think i have permission to do that sort of thing.

Reserved!

Free wood climbing holds.

Hidden in one box of plastic holds I recently purchased from a gentle man. Looks like hand crafted. The feet and another rounded pinch have really good shape. Some chalk and rubber residue. Not sure how strong they are. Neither screwed on my wall nor tested in person. Would like to give them away to whoever wants some woody to play around.

Local pickup at Los Angeles, Torrance, or Culver city.

Free hand crack, St. Louis area. 2 12ft long sections that vary from 2" down to 1.5". Willing to cut down to size to help move. Message me if you're interested.

Edited with pictures: It was originally put up overhanging about 10 degrees for the first 12 feet, and then a roof for the next 11. It's 2 2x10 boards with wooden blocks as spacers. The original idea was to swap out different sizes of spacers to change the width, but some of the screw heads stripped. Gyms started reopening when I felt like I had mastered hands well enough (never did more than 3 consecutive moves in the roof though), so I never attempted to change the width. The boards are unpainted/untextured. I applied adhesive backed sandpaper (220 grit) to the roof at one point, which helped me stick, but it tore up my crack gloves and skin. I recommend leaving the wood bare. It was set up in the back basement stairway to allow me to get the height and roof without any significant extra structure. Now it is lying next to the shed in two pieces. I'll give you everything I used to put it up, but it won't be freestanding as is. Gone.

Shout to Nate. I posted about a layer months ago and finally sent it to him. He offered to cover shipping and I asked that he donate to a local conservation nonprofit instead. He did, I’ll match the donation, he has the layer and all is well. Feel free to steal this idea and cheers y’all

It’s the knife from Touching the Void, and after the movie it was then used in a dramatic rescue of 4 apes attempting to summit a remote Afghanistan peak when the last ape in the rescue line got caught between frozen rocks and almost pulled the helicopter into the mountain.

Not a place to ask for free things; make a WTB post in the classifieds
