I’ve got my ring tattooed and I love it.

I’d take what you will as far as the specific knot is concerned, but it’s hard to fit much on your finger, and small details in a tattoo will start to blur after a few years.
a bunch of fine black lines will just be a black knot shaped blob on your finger eventually.

I’d go to a well respected artist with a few options in mind and ask which one is going to last the best.

That’s if It matters to you.

Some of my favorite tattoos are pretty shitty, and I couldn’t care less that the diamond on my finger has lost almost all of its detail. 

The "Ring Bend" seems to be the natural choice...
