I am planning to go to Denali in May of 2020, wondering if anybody would like to partner?

Between now and May of 2020, I am also planning trips to Pike's Peak in Nov/Dec.

Anybody interested in partnering?

Thanks
sg

Hello I am planning Denali around that time as well and do not yet have a set team. I would like to discuss your prior experience and expectations more. My email is murphtwo@knights.ucf.edu.

Hi Dan,

Thanks for reaching out to me. I really appreciate it. I am looking for company to do Denali in 2020, but I also need to connect to ensure i am equipped physically, emotionally and from intellectually (from a training perspective) so i can finish things from start to end and not become a burden. Please let me know when we can talk/text, I have your cell so I can send msg if you are ok with that, or do a prep call if you are open to that.

Thanks
SG

If you would like, perhaps I could help by trying to connect you with other unguided clients and teams who will start around May or June.  In addition, I also teach climbers how to prepare for climbing Denali on a solo permit and I have summited like this myself - that may be a game-changing option for you too, especially if you join another team.

Solid background and OP about Denali, sg.  Just wanted to reach out in case you or any other Denali 2020 mountaineers might be interested in some local help!

Hi Dan. I am from Ecuador (South America). I climb mountains since 20 years ago. I climbed Mount Aconcagua (6969 meters) in three days and many others 6000 meters mountains.
I have only 17 days available in total (home-summit-home) due to my job. I expect to spend 10 days in the mountain (kahiltna-summit-kahiltna) + 7 days travelling (home-kahiltna-home). I have good altitude training because I live at 3000 meters and train at 5000 meters.
I am looking to be part of unguided group. I am planning to arrive in Anchorage on jun-02-2020. Please is possible that you help me ?

I am planning to do it in May-June.
I have been there once, in 2018.
Let me know.

Is coronavirus not a concern for anyone, or is Denali more important?

No need to worry Mark.  There is no climbing for the 2020 season.
