Looking for a partner that climbs 5.7-5.9 trad or sport.
Personally don’t have any gear besides the basics, a baley device, and slings...
Somewhat new to climbing but have done my fair share of routes since climbing on real rock walls starting in October.
Willing to give more info to an interested partner.

Hi Amy,

I'm located in Santa Cruz, and climb a lot at Pinnacles, Castle Rock, and Indian Joe Caves. I also make frequent trips up the coast to places like Salt Point, Sonoma Coast SP, and farther away, over to Lover's Leap & Sonora Pass & Yosemite when in season. Depending on where you're located I'd love to climb

Living in Oakland. No car though :(

Also a pretty new climber here! I’ve climbed guided at Joshua Tree and have done some guided multi pitch alpine climbing. I’m in the northbay and looking for some partners I can grow with. Even if it’s just bouldering.

You are in a PRIME place for just bouldering.

Im also a recent transplant to the bay area from dc, I've  had a good time climbing at castle rock and Auburn quarry up near tahoe, we usually climb easy trad or sport up to the 10s.  I've got a single rack and all the other gear if anyone is ever looking to climb (once the rain clears up...)

Sugarloaf Ridge is the closest bouldering spot to my place, followed by Sunset boulders. Have you ever climbed either?

Anyone up for some climbing tomorrow? I'm visiting for a week but I only have tomorrow and the day after open, and the weather's not looking great for Wednesday. Would love to head down to the Pinnacles for some multipitch. Unfortunately, I've only got personal gear, but am happy to lead trad or sport ... on your gear =)

Hi all, I'm based in SF with gear and a car and hoping to climb outdoors this Friday, January 3rd.  I'm flexible about where: Castle Rock, Pine Canyon, perhaps Calistoga or Pinnacles.  If interested send me an email at montyworth@gmail.com

Hello,

I will be in the bay area and interested in sport climbing on Sun 12 (with gear + car).

Question to the locals; Which crags would have better rock conditions on Sun, given the weather looks a bit wet on Sat 11?

There are very few (read pretty much none) crags that aren't fragile sandstone so you are probably better off going to golden wall or jailhouse or something.

Hey, I just came across this thread and thought I might introduce myself. I'm a trad climber in Marin, my partner moved away last year, so I'm looking for partners for the spring. I have climbed mostly at Lovers Leap, Yosemite, and Red Rocks. I have gear and lead up to 5.9 trad, 5.10 sport. I currently have my broken foot in a boot :( so I'm not up for anything right away, but just thought I would say hi and maybe this thread will still be active in a few weeks when I'm back to it.

Hey all, another climber in the south bay here. I only climb sport so far (up to low 5.10), but hopefully getting into trad this year. I've climbed mostly at Pinnacles, Castle Rock, and Mount Diablo -- always up for a trip to any of them. I'm also up for a drive to Tahoe or Yosemite if you know the area and are looking for a partner / trad follower. Message me on here.

Hello everyone, figure I would jump on board. I am not out of the bay, but just moved to the Sacramento area recently and looking to get out and climb now or when it warms up. I have Double rack and rope, down for teaching some trad, sport, or bouldering. Shoot me a PM if you guys are looking for someone to climb with.

Just moved back to the bay area as well. Have lots of gear, looking to climb Trad/sport and maybe boulder if the line is cool. See y'all in the spring!

I’m a recent transplant from Kansas City. I’m in South Bay, but would be down for some trad, bouldering, or sport climbing next week. I’ve got a double rack, but no crash pad (yet :) ). Let me know if you (or if anyone else in this thread) wants to get in touch.
