More Info
I've been climbing since 1999, at least twice a week at Mission Cliffs and a half dozen or so days a year outside and have gradually done dozens of trad and sport routes in the Adirondacks, Yosemite, Tahoe, France (lived there 2016-17) and various other spots. I have a wife and kids, so I can't easily take off on weekends, but I'm a teacher so I have the summers off and am more flexible then. With gyms closed due to Covid, I've been getting outdoors more lately, every week or two.

The Arch (a.k.a. Ozone)
Jan 16, 2021 · TR. With Glen. Easy to set up. First part pumpy, but interesting mix. Then reaching up to horizontal crack was killer. No feet, desperate scrabble and no gloves so tore up my hands jamming. Feels like 11 to me.

The Runway
Jan 16, 2021 · TR. Super hard, tiny edges, delicate balance work, hardly any hands toe killer. Fell a lot and had to pull on bolts at one spot. No way could I lead it.

Norwegian Air
Jan 16, 2021 · TR. Glen led. Cool route, very hard crux moving over bulge, very sketch left foot way out then both hands on sloper. Then not bad.

Don't Stress
Jan 16, 2021 · TR. With Glen, fell a few times first 15’. That would be a very tough lead. Very tough on the toes. A few little finger pockets.

The Pillar
Oct 12, 2020 · Lead / Flash. With Patrick. Forgot that you need cams on this. I just had five pieces, but enough. One .5 piece at end of P1, then several first half of P2. Not too hard but way runout w/o gear.
