Try also CT AMC - Appalachian Mtn Club, mountaineering committee   They used to hold "tuesday evenings at some cliff", don't know if they still do in this age of gyms. (been away from CT 7yrs)

Some places in CT that are easy to TR-solo: Whitestone, St John's Ledges, many of the smaller cliffs adjacent to Ragged.

CT AMC does do Tuesday nights at a random cliff in the area and also meets at central rock on tuesday nights. You can start there. You can also post on Central Rock Glastonburys website that you are looking for partners too. You can find me on Facebook or that member page and shoot me a dm if you want. I generally get to central rock one night a week.

RI climbers frequently climb in your area so check out ClimbRI.org .... Pinnacle Rock is a nice local crag as well where I have met some friendly folks who don’t mind sharing ropes.

Did you ever find partners? We've continued to be rained out every Wednesday since your post, except for one week when a few of us just climbed in the rain.

The nice part about climbing in western ct is that if you somehow are climbing with another (non rei) group at the crag, you will both be surprised to see another climber and it will be a very pleasant encounter. That was probably the best part about climbing in CT for me. Usually had the crag to yourself, if not you have found a new partner.

I'm living in Meriden and climbing in that area. Are you looking to climb top rope, sport, or trad?

sorry all - been off line. Found a few partners off and off. Had not been able to make the CT AMC but hope to in the spring.
Chris P - all of the above however I enjoy myself a good gear fall.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
