Ugh, long time coming IMO. The issue removing pictures was the last straw. MP may not be perfct but it has a ton more features I like an easy ability to subscribe to threads). For all the trolls on this site, its a minor issue when compared to ST. |

Does someone know if a law has changed or something regarding Internet forums? It seems like one of the other sites I check out sometimes also went down recently, Redriverclimbing.com. It now just has their online guidebook. |

The DMCA has been around for over 20 years, so no nothing has changed other than more people violating copyright law and more people sending DMCA takedown notices. |

I doubt it was any DMCA takedown notices. That's all B.S. They simply never gave much of a shit about the forum and finally decided to end it. No real reason. The haphazard way they managed it is evidence enough to show that. |

If one does not care much, it probably takes very few DMCA notices. Why pay a lawyer to maintain something like that? |

William R wrote: Yes, it did. I think I still have it. I'll go check. It was a little cheesy, but a fun read for a climber, good airplane material when you have a large person squeezed up next to you |

I didn't find it yet (three generations of books in my house in shelves and boxes, lol), but googling it I am pretty sure it was Angels of Light by Jeff Long |
