You could cure yourself of this unhealthy addiction. Try an extreme treatment like heading into some remote place like the Alaska Range, taking a hard fall and sustaining major injuries, spending a couple of nights alone and immobile in sub-zero weather....oh, wait... |

Do meth. You'll lose weight, have energy and enjoy a meticulously clean house. |
I quit drinking beer (sucks) and lost about 50 pounds in a year. I climb way harder now....just sayin. |
Malcolm, you can out-climb most people half your age. Anytime you want to climb, get a hold of me and we'll get out or in. |
I'm right behind you Malcolm (figure of speech not literally speaking)! This thread is amusing. |

Yup, I get it, Malcolm.... Been 63 for 3 months now. Things just ain't the same no mo'. But I'll never quit what I love so much till I'm forced to for some reason. Just keep down-bumping the grades more and more (why does 10a feel like 11a used to???? Do holds keep breaking off?). Now my challenges become head control rather than number crunching. |
FORCE a change in unproductive habits and work hard on what you really want to do...not necessarily climbing. |
Did I tell you my new rule? |
Been doin' those short approaches to easy climbs for way too long now.... Can't seem to hardly do otherwise. But it keeps us on the rock! |
