another supertopo thread no one asked for

As someone who only very rarely spent any time on supertopo, what are the important distinctions between the general vibes and culture of the two  communities? Compare and contrast. Extra points for Venn diagrams.

On MP people are noobs and think they know it all. On Supertopo they're old and think they know it all.

Super topo had Zero   does my anchor look ok  or I  am leading 5.9 in the gym am I ready for multi pitch  bla, bla bla. Super topo had a vitural campfire of climbing legends..   lots of crap you did not have to click on if you did not want politics but also many gems in there if you knew where to look.   the crazy politico threads kept the riff raff away. only the ones who got it  stayed at the fire …  MP is RC.noob… 

Super Topo users operate around comradery and common (dis)interests. MP users operate on fake internet popularity points and telling you you’re wrong and stupid.  Equal amount of trolls although MP user can’t see the humor.

As a young guy who spent a fair time on both... ST was great for history and beta in some of the "hardman" areas but sucked for community and partner finding.

MP has lots of guys willing to help and I have climbed with probably 10+ ppl off of it, much more welcoming and friendly.

That is just my anecdote, I am sure others have had different experiences.
