Hi Internet Hive Mind I was surfing around yesterday and I had a bit of an A Ha moment. The active ingredient in wart remover is salicylic acid. One of it's properties is to break down keratin in skin. This is how it functions to remove warts.
Has anyone tried to use this stuff to control their climbing calluses? I do the whole sanding, buffing thing but that has limited success since the callus in question always comes back. I'm contemplating a small scale test but I just wanted to see if anyone else has tried this.
Sure. I have been using salicylic oinment to remove callous for years. It is cheap and effective. The only drawback it should be stored in a freezer so you cannot bring it on a roadtrip.
