Does anyone know where I could find just the Camelot lobes? I tried calling BD directly and they don't sell them. I was hoping to find them to implement as part of my van build (to swing around a pivot to hold drawers closed when driving).
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Black Diamond reps normally have them at outdoor events as keychains.... and that's all the insight I have.

Go to a consigned gear shop and pick up old cams for cheap, then (it pains me to say this) tear them apart.

I used some as handles in my van, I got them by posting on here looking for unusable cams and tearing them apart. I was able to get a couple rusted #3s for really cheap. The axles were all rusted out, but the aluminum lobes looked fine.

You're supposed to soak the entire cam in some kinda lemon juice vinegar solution for a few days and bam, good as new I got them for super cheap, cut them up, and used them for what I had intended. My goal wasn't to restore questionable pieces when I already have plenty in that size, my goal was to get crappy cams for cheap to cut up and use in a project.

It's in reference to someone on mp who tried this to clean them and the trigger wire dissolved.

Not sure if that's supposed to be a pun or is just a typo...

Sounds like a great non-vertical project! I have a set of fully-functional old-style Camalots for $20 each, #0.5 to #3.0 if you're not looking for freebies. They need to be re-slung but that wouldn't be an issue for you.
