No it only goes down to 2 because zero or lower would be pointless and I don't like odd numbers.

I feel like I range from 0.5 to 3ish. I try very hard to avoid anybody at or above an 8.

Also, is this a closed rating system or an open rating system, because I'm pretty sure tradiban is a 13 but I guess we could just call him 9+

I ate the red pill.

This thread would be better if we were rating our top 3 climbing partners and calling them out by their MP moniker.

What number is it if you can't climb unless everyone else has their shirt off?

An inflated understanding of their skill level.
Ever watch a n00b introduce a newer n00b to climbing?

I'm a solid 0.

I know I suck at actually climbing, but I'm proud of my knowledge and systems.

You got me. Another +1 for going to UVM?

I think that puts you at a "5". Wait, does that comment make me a 7.5? Shit.

Is it  representative of our actual  day-to-day climbing or how we represent ourselves in the comment section on MP?

Lots of variables. Did someone touch the Honnold hold before you did? Depretiaton is important in factoring for accurate results.

Well, if you *DO* climb 5.15, that's not arrogance, that's pride, so the scale seems to be either off or oddly titled.
Arrogance would be the measure of the gap between one's broadcast and what they are actually capable of.

Strange question, this.

If Pride is what this is meant to measure, or Ego, perhaps, then I'd say a 5+/-2  Depends on the day.
I was climbing with a friend at a local crag the other day and someone approached and asked:
"Are you Tony Bubb?"
I have not climbed in months since a rather serious set of surgeries and I was a bit conservative and have I gained 10lbs since the injury/non climbing last summer.
I was feeling pretty meek & the idea of 5.10 was hard for me:
"Well, I used to be..."

I guess that was a (5-2 =) "3" day.
A few days later I was climbing better and at least heading in a direction back towards my normal climbing, I guess and I probably would have answered differently/come across differently.
Not sure. I still am telling my partners that if they want to plan on anything complicated that they have to lead the crux.  So there's that.

That's metaphorically called a "Sophomore."  The etymology works quite well too.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
