The nonchalance of taking a fall and the high five disguise the fact that the leader was probably not wearing a helmet (the belayer isn't) and a headfirst fall could have been fatal.
Simple observation seems to indicate that they encourage users to do stupid shit...( I guess I should really say that stupidity and go-pro use are correllated... who knows which causes which?)
For sure, but you can't sue GoPro because you decided to do something stupid in order to record it on video. They would have to show an actual mechanical failure that resulted from mounting a camera onto the helmet, not poor decision making. Otherwise, just about anyone could sue Captain Morgan or Budweiser...
