Both today and yesterday I'm getting a 404 error when following a thread notification that there has been new posts. I also see that the quote issue has been corrected somewhat, I think. It turns out pressing enter in the quote gets me out of it's box and into the regular text box. This doesn't though allow for creating line breaks in the quote box. It also seems to me that being able to mouse click your cursor where you want it in text box and quote box should be possible.

Ditto on the notification error.

I think it's important to say that I continue to find myself annoyed at not having page links in the forum listings after the title for multi page threads. Often I re-check these threads and don't want to have to go through the first page to get to the last. Doesn't that also make it a bandwidth waste on your end?

if you subscribe to the thread via the "Notify on site" button then it will take you to the latest post since you last viewed it.

When I first saw it, my expectation was "Oh, this is how to insert a quote block in a post." Nope.

Well sure, and no offense intended but, I don't want to be notfied of every multi-page thread I look at. And what if you've already viewed it and want to see information on a certain page?

Michael Schneider wrote: And anotherclimber, ! Your 'computer-foo', astounds! How did you place multiple quotes, separated by your own comments in that excellent post ?
I figured this would be a better place to answer this rather than let the other thread drift off topic. And that way other people also get to see how this is done since it involves changes in the forum. The way I did this was by initially clicking on and opening the "Quote" link on the person's comment in a new browser tab. That got my initial quote in. And then you can edit the quote however you want including deleting multiple prior quotes that are added in it. When you are done with the quote, put your cursor at the end of it and press enter. This brings your cursor out of the quote box and you can start your comment below it. When you are ready to enter another separate quote, click on the " button above the "Post a Reply" box. It's the one farthest right, to the left of the smiley face for the emoticons. Select increase. In bold, type or paste in the user's name and add "wrote:" after it. Turn off bold and paste in their comment you want quoted. Move your cursor to the end of the quote and press enter to get your cursor out of the quote box and start your own comment about the quote. Repeat as necessary.

I keep getting 404 can't find page seems like you are off route to my thread notifications such as this one. I had to search the forum to access this thread.

New one...how do you delete photos in a thread without comments? I only see a link popping up to view. And when you do edit your for sale post it changes it to blocks where I had to go in and re-edit the entire post hitting enter after..every...line.
Finally after editing the entire thread and submitting it deleted ALL my pictures even though you couldn't see them originally in the thread. WTF

No chance on getting page numbers back then? Or some way to jump to latest unread post on a topic? Sounds like maybe there are options for the latter like following the thread so I get notifications, but I don't really want to mark a bunch of topics just for that. I like that for replies in threads I've actually commented in vsjust want to read.

Agreed and I plan to remove multi-levels of quotes when I have time next week. It will probably be retroactive as well as forward-going.
