I have recently moved to the Austin area. If I want to post about the climbing there, which forum should I use? None of the existing choices really fit except maybe the South. Thanks!

Thanks, and I already have those bookmarked, but what I mean is where to post in the regional forums since they get more activity.

Ah, I get it, I think. Looks like Texas is in the "Midwest" region:

Yeah, I've been wondering who thought Texas was in the Midwest. Definitely not someone who's driven from Houston to El Paso... or in any part of Texas at all.

Yeah, Midwest is a weird landing spot for Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas- Could easily be its own region. And it would make way more sense than having Texas and Minnesota in the same region

Thanks, Frank, for spotting that. I never thought to look at Midwest. That indeed is a strange spot to include Texas.

join the austin climbing group of facebook and or go to crux or lurk around seismic or gus fruh at the greenbelt for catches. The scene is small.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
