Anyone have recent photo of n face of Long's?

Mt.Wilson,
Look at the live camera. Or hopefully no clouds…

It looks full, or great for a ski descent / climb ascent.

Anybody been past Lincoln Falls lately?

Martha's good but crowded today, although we all seemed to stay out of each other's way for the most part.
Good bathtub steps in the snow. Plenty of ice, I don't think any mixed moves were strictly necessary.

Here's a picture of the N face of Long's.

I caught this view of Longs this morning, looking rather Scottish at the moment. In less than 10 min, the clouds moved in again.

Climbed Martha yesterday, here's a pic from the top of the couloir on our way to the summit of MLW with an icy Diamond in the background. It is very much winter still in RMNP. Would have been a great day to be on the powder boards on the North face of Longs or some other objective. We dispatched of the ice with one long 70m pitch and wallowed through knee-deep snow at beginning and end. The ice lead was one of the wildest I've had due to crazy spindrift. I even thought of myself as kind of a hard man for a few minutes... This climb will be prime after the next melt-freeze cycle.

Lincoln falls as seen from Hoosier. Haven't decided if it's ice or a mirage.

For what it's worth…

Longs Peak this morning, from the web cam. Finally clear for a viewing!

The word from a few days ago is that it's ice, but along the right side gully, the knee deep snow did not look all that stable.

Hmm...I wonder if it's Dreamweaver or TFD time yet? Looks like the warm-up this coming week could make things there just right...

What are peoples thoughts for avy danger RMNP this weekend? Looks like it's been a while since snow has fallen, not much freezing going on though.

Got on Dreamweaver Saturday. Barely any ice and lots of snow that made it pretty hard to find pro. Lots of slides nearby starting at 11am. It's probably obvious to say but get on and get off the mountain early.

Did the third pitch of Shinzo's Third Arrow on Black Wall Sunday-- descent ice but melting. Below the 3rd pitch the entire gully is at risk from multiple cornices. Black and White has no ice and has a monster cornice hanging over it. Silhouette also has no ice.

Pretty fair I'd say. Reports across summit are things are coming down.

Yeah - I've seen the remnants of huge wet slides on a bunch of steep east facing slopes in RMNP in the past few days.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
