Been working on developing a new area. Always left my gear up there as I had a lot and didn't want to carry it all across the river every time. Figured no one would ever go up there, and if they did, they wouldn't steal it. It was taken between Sept 1 and Sept 17th. If you bought it cheap on KSL, I would love to buy it back. This is all the stuff that I remember having. It was all stored in a blue Tupperware container with green lid, or vise versa, with "camping gear" written on the side of it. Not belonging to me, two torque wrenches, a 'mad rock rope pad' (looks like a foldable garbage can), some carabiners, KONG ascenders, carpenter hammer, another crowbar, a couple wrenches, slings, more aid ladders, an old backpack, and some 1/2 x 3 3/4 plated steel Fixe bolts. Had pics but they didn't copy/paste. DRILL 11213R - old Boush Bull dog. has orange/red looking melted spot on top. Also has a extension cord attached with SLA battery connectors. HARNESS - Metolius Waldo bigwall harness size M Waldo HARNESS - Petzl Grey, size M, orange cord tying two rear gear loops together, older harness ADJUSTABLE DAISY'S - metolius 1 blue, 1 yellow. BINERS - assortment of about 15 carabiners ASCENDERS - made by Petzl - older model LOCKERS - had a few BD vaporlocks BLACK DIAMOND a few Positron Screwgate Carabiner BLACK DIAMOND RockLock TwistLock Carabiner QUCIKDRAWS - 2-3 BD hotwires. older. gold color. Had a couple of the BD OZ's. Black Diamond Gridlock screwgate locker. Had a few smaller quickdraws as well. Can't remember the make. orange. CORDELETTE - 60 meters, red, on a spool ROPE - 20 meters of white static rope GRI GRI - older style Petzl gri gri - I believe red in color SHOES - size 10.5 fairly used. five ten anasazi. Huge bummer, hope you get your stuff back. But your list makes a good teaching tool for me - why, when people have ALL that gear stashed, can't you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE buy stainless steel bolts? Pretty please? Logan is not that dry, and limestone, and it will just make it so much nicer for climbers if your bolts don't have rust streaks coming down from them in a couple decades. Plus that, rebolters won't need to replace your bolts either. End rant...can you tell I get a bit frustrated after trying to get so many FA folks to go stainless over the past 15 years.... Good luck getting your stolen gear back.

scottso....really sorry to hear about your gear being taken. I hope you locate it and get the gear back. New routing is hard enough without this. Someone must have been very determined to pack off that much gear. I've often contemplated stashing my new routing gear, but always worried about this happening. That said, I suspect you know the perps or they know you, as in a rival, competitor, and someone you've had unpleasant experiences with in the past. Sept. 1 - 17, that's a big window. Good luck.

could be or it could also be along the lines of forest service or blm. I don't know though, never went through an experience like this before and i am unfamiliar with logan canyon. Sorry to hear it and hope you find the source. as far as stainless bolts and hangars go it is also good to use stainless steel brush for scrubbing.

Buff blaming fucking marmots in 5, 4, 3, 2... :-P That really sucks scottso. You must "save" the pictures to your phone or computer and use the "add photo" button to browse and upload images. Then you can edit and rotate the image as needed. I don't think there is any way to copy and paste. Pictures would help the community identify the missing items. Good luck getting your gear back.

I have checked with the forest service and they don't have it. As far as the people knowing me, I highly doubt it, but it's possible. Hunters wouldn't be here. Fishers would be, but I don't think they would notice the wall from the water.
