Greetings folk!

Recently my wife and I went on a business trip to Prague. Now it's time for some fun!
From there we went onto Germany to visit the famous climbing area where you can use no chalk or metal protection. Elbsandstein!

I did a 3 part series on my blog about this trip. Seems like such historic places, you may enjoy seeing the sites. This is my way of sharing some experiences.

Part 1 is photos of Prague
Part 2 is photos of Elbsandstein
Part 3 is a short video I made from the bits of footage I gathered.

Hope you enjoy! Here is a general link to my blog, from there you can pick what you would like to view...

Cheers,
Cory

Thanks man! (It's always so hard to tell when to stop tweaking the vid, and just finish it..)

Great posts, Cory! That rock looks really interesting, but the pro looks like it is more psychological than actual. Did anyone take any falls on it? I think I'd be following the locals for a while before I took over the sharp end.

Thanks for checking it out folks!

@ Mike
Yeah some of that gear... Would not want to fall on it.

Overall it is the rock softness at issue. The knots look and feel real
good when placed. Same goes for the threads. It is those little face
features (boiler plates?) that is the scary ones.

I did take a whipper on a 11+ onto a bolt. It held! :)
Those bolts are just giant nails pounded in with lead strips or sleeves.
You only ever get one to rap off of also!

Good day to stay inside and watch a silly video... (Flooding here in Boulder, CO)

There goes the flood sirens again!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
