Hallowed Climbing Spots

So I was watching "The Beckoning Silence" today ( youtube.com/watch?v=zVkJBsU… for those who haven't seen it). And I started thinking about the Hinterstoisser Traverse and how infamous it is. A climber gets there and they almost can't help thinking about the history of that spot. |

And Concordia (where you turn Left for K2 and Broad Peak or Right for the Gasherbrums, with G4 in front of you and Masherbrum behind): And I agree with the Kor routes. Just about every one of those had me asking what the ^%$#@ was he thinking: Kors Flake, Kors Ingalls, etc. |

Basically the Trapps (Gunks, NY) altogether. Not EVERY route is great but MANY, MANY fine, fun, steep, exposed classics live here. |
