Tell me what color and size, and buy me a beer, and ill get them back to you.

Seriously, I'm pretty sure most of these "found" threads should actually be put in the "subtle spray" catagory. This is where the people who climb epic shit get to spray about it because they found someones bootie. Enough already.

Was there a frozen ear attached to the beanie? I lost mine last week.

lol, and another one for the irony of "beanie and scarf" as suitable Everest wear.

Pink Billabong beanie and matching burberry scarf? Those are mine. What about the cardigan? Did you happen upon that as well?

the descent must have been extra chilly without the beanie and scarf!
haha billabong & burberry.

Can I just have the beanie, so I can take my shirt off and go bouldering. I can't take my shirt off without a beanie.

Rumor has it these items belonged to Sandy Irvine.
He set them down momentarily to take a photo of George on the summit. They were actually on their way back up to retrieve these items when they were last seen with the clouds rolling in...

RockinOut....was that your left ear or your right ear? I misplaced a beanie while relieving myself, but mine has a digit attached. I would love to have both returned and will place the digit in a jar of formaldehyde, as Willie Unseld did with his toes, to remember it.

It's pretty fun to intentionally leave little tokens or prizes hidden on the top of routes though...

Good idea!.. I love the flip side of this. Leave something so you can reply to lost and found!

It seems like mp forums have gone downhill lately. Makes me want to act like a douche just to stir things up.

I think someone on here coined the term "misting" to describe this phenomenon.

"Misting", I like it!

I concur with the OP. If I hear about lost gear, I only want it to be the mewling of those who lost it, not in the benevolent tones of somebody who is ethically superior.

If you left it it's not your cardigan anymore.

on an unrelated note, I'm completely toasty in my new cardigan...

only a helplessly self-pitying guy with a low self-esteem would be bothered by it so much that he'd post to whine about it.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
