camping near St. george

I am planning a trip down to st george this weekend to do some sport climbing around snow canyon and was wondering if anyone knew of a place close by to camp for free?

The last time that i was there i camped at the green valley gap. i think that was the name of the crag. But i dont know if you can still camp there, there may be houses on it now. The green valley gap is also a crag with some ok sport stuff. I know that you can pay a bit and stay in snow canyon if you want to spend a few bucks

i think there is camping at snow canyon but you have to pay. There is a great spot clled Prophesy Wall a bit north of there which has some nice climbing in a cool setting and the camping is free

Can you still camp for free?

Green Valley is still there and people will camp there. I would expect this next Saturday to be quite busy with a mountain bike race fyi.
