We lost a camalot 6 on the fourth pitch of the mace friday the 13th and reclimbed it yesterday the 15th to get it and it was gone. If anyone will return it I will buy a case of beer. It was a friend's piece. Thanks.

OK I gotta ask. How do you lose a number 6 camalot.
Kind of like saying "were did I park that 747?" Just asking....

Ditto Jimbo's question. No offense; I sincerely am also wondering how you get a clunker like that stuck/jammed/lost, etc..

Bigger question is "Why did you bring a #6"?

That climb doesn't need it for sure.

I have found lots of goodies rapping into the void below the fourth pitch.

See user name from OP.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

#4 was a big as we took, I seem to dimly recall.

A 6 will fit near the top of the second pitch.

Needs vs wants at that point in the climb will be different for different folks.

I always take a 6 on the Mace. Especially if you do the climb without clipping the bolts at the top of the 4th pitch a #6 protects those moves nicely.
