Oh great! First I need a camera...now I need some funky kinda lens? This seems like a lotta effort.

The best part is that you can always see the other guy coming for so long because of THE FISHEYE LENS!!!!

Also someone should film a screen playing this video through a fisheye lens to create perhaps the most awesome thing ever.

Those are great points guys! But really all you have to do to be a pro climbing photographer is to have a card that says that you are.

dunno about fish eye, but wide angle is where its at. 10-20mm zoom, can get some great perspective without the totally obvious distortion. Usually just rock the 18-200, but last trip to the creek I only used my 10-20 and came out with some great shots...

If you're trying to get published in Transworld, sure a fish eye might help.

There are a few Pro Climbing guys who really know how to use a nice ultra wide rectilinear lens though. Simon Carter comes to mind...

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
