Miura vs. Katana Sizing Question

Does anyone who has worn both Katana velcros and Miura laces know if the two shoes size similarly? I'm considering getting a pair of Miuras, and have long taken a 40 in Katanas; just wondering if that is a good estimation that I'll take the same size in both.

Just wondering, do you wear your Katanas for more cracks, longer routes, more comfortable fit, etc?

I wear the same sizes, but the Katanas seem tighter. I feel like the katanas are more agressive for edges and pockets and the miuras are more comfortable, and more stable for heel hooking, etc.

I say go and try them on. Every shoe fits differently...

With those two models, it usually boils down to the shape of your foot- I can wear Miuras about a half size smaller than Katanas, but lots of folks say just the opposite, and some (see above) say no difference. For me, the two shoes behave slightly differently on small holds.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
