The Park Service is in the process of developing a new wilderness and backcountry plan for the Black and Curecanti NRA. You have till May to comment on this site. parkplanning.nps.gov/blca Climbers are the largest group to use land based backcountry recreation in the Black. If you don't speak up you won't be represented. Believe it or not, the publics input does have a lot of power in these plans.We can't read the administration's mind and don't panic but think Reservations to get on a climb on a certain day. Number of people allowed down an approach gully and the list goes on. Thanks Jimmy Newberry
