+1.. make that +2.
Anyway, they take good care of you there, the food is good, you can have the pool complex, it's not expensive, etc...
We had the pool complex reserved the night before to have a cookout, etc.
The bar is nice, the dinner hall is nice, there is less bullshit with "approved" vendors (do what you want) and hours and noise...
Plus if it rains you just move the ceremony from the lawn to the lodge- about 50 feet. The rooms are upstairs from the lodge.

Your relatives can go ride the cable car up the hill or go for a drive in RMNP while you are doing whatever too- lots for them to do. The Estes Park Brewery is 1 mile down the hillside too.

On top of that, it was cheaper than most places we looked.
If I had to get married again, I'd do the exact same thing.

We got married at the Red Cliffs Lodge, just down the road from Castleton Tower. It was perfect-- sunset hit just at the right time, good temps, there were rooms for the more well-off guests, and free camping just a couple minutes up the road for dirtbags. Rates were pretty reasonable as far as hotels go (way cheaper than the Sorrel River Ranch up the river). The only drawback is that Utah law required them to provide the beer, so we couldn't get a keg from the local breweries or anything.

And 0.00% chance that any leftovers from the reception dinner will go to waste...

I got married at Torrent Falls in RRG, KY in October. Was pretty great! Photos by Wes Allen, wtallenphotography.com

We tied the knot five years ago in a pretty meadow at Lumpy Ridge, near Estes Park. Lots and lots of easy accommodations there; we stayed at a cabin-y place west of town. Reception happened down the road 20 miles at Oskar Blues in Lyons. They accommodated our 30 people or so effortlessly, let everybody order whatever they wanted, didn't charge us any extra, just asked for notification of numbers about a week ahead of time so they could order food and staff for us. Low key and cheap!

We got married in Estes Park at the YMCA of the Rockies.

Neither of us are religious and there was nothing religious about the planning or event so no worries there.

This option is considerably less expensive than most.

There are cabins and/or lodges on the grounds. My family all stayed in one lodge while my friends rented a few cabins next to each other that had between 2 and 5 bedrooms.

The view are great.

And so, 10 beers later, all I felt was an urge to pee.

Awesome location, for the record.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
