But before you do that, please read this:
"New Route Submission Guidelines
Since this is the first time you have submitted a route, please take a few minutes to review our route contribution guidelines.
Anyone can submit a route, but to contribute a quality route description takes a little more time. It's also what makes this site special; so help us out and take the time to enter a great route description!
There are three steps to adding a route:
- Step 1: Entering the basic info about the route (name, ratings, FA, etc.)
- Step 2: Entering route description and protection
- Step 3: Contributing a photo (optional)
When posting a route, first please check to make sure the route isn't already on the site. If it already exists, you are wasting your time as you won't be able to add it!
Basic Info Here you'll enter things like the route name and First Ascent (FA) information. The more information you can fill out on this page the better.
Description Unique and informative descriptions are what make Mountain Project so useful and interesting. Try to paint a picture of the climb from start to finish, describing the route along the way, and consider it an art more than a science. You want to describe the essence of the climb yet not ramble on like a fool. You want to make the route description clear, but not give away all its secrets. Be sure to include the approach and decent.
Protection Protection should give an indication of what to take, but not a specific list of exact pieces. And be sure to include any protection that differs from the standard rack.
Photos A picture is worth a thousand words, so if you have a photo you think others will benefit from — please post it. We have comprehensive Photo Submission Guidelines available.
Once you have contributed... Ask your climbing partners to check out your submissions to make sure you haven't missed anything. If there are errors or changes you can easily edit any of your contributions by clicking the red edit links. "
