It's just not right you accused me of exhibitionism! It's even more not right that my only relevant pic is 20 lbs heavier than current, and even pastier white than last night's performance. :)
EDIT: That's the MP Biner by the way, whose travels I will post one day...

Oh yea. I think I used the same gloves to touch everything in my bag. I am in trouble now. Starting to feel itch..., or just is it just my imagination.

crap -- someone push some epi, those cats have some serious anaphylaxis going on.

don't suppose anyone documented the other gender, in the interest of public safety and all; we may need to see the after-effects, possibly air-born, ya never know

According to this only Blob Rock is still closed. I haven't tried to climb there this season, but I was pretty sure all of the closures had been lifted. I'll check the sign tonight.

Either way, Security Risk is open. Legs, do you have time to climb Friday afternoon? I'd like to climb the pitch to see if it is worth bringing others up to.

The suspense kills; what image has Horse been trying to load for 5 hours? Must be heavier than the haulbag he packed last night...

Rich, I can't this Friday, but if you don't get up there, I can next Friday.

Shawn, that MP biner should go places other than the climbing gym.

Shawn Mitchell · · Broomfield · Joined Mar 2008 · Points: 250

Right you are! It made a few rounds. And the pictures have sat stored on my computer, stalled by my ignorance of how to post them (recently remedied) and my guilty procrastination. (maybe soon to give way...)

EDIT: If ya mean it should experience a bigger world than the gym, I'm with ya. If you're saying it shouldn't see inside a gym, well, now, that's a snooty attitude! :) Besides, it would have blocked the gag TR I wanted to post that would have been fresh then, but will be like MP archeology now. :-( That pic should give one clue...

I think the location of where the mysterious pics were taken has something to do with the procrastination. Or guilt by association.

You be quiet. Have we met?

Worrisome news, O-Dubbers!

I passed it to Adam Berger months ago, who promptly posted an awesome TR. Don't know where it is now.

nothin too exciting... was a pic of some PI from wiki. dont know how to upload. oh well.

Adam Berger · · Unknown Hometown · Joined Oct 2007 · Points: 20

Just found out who I sent it too. I mailed it to him because we couldn't seem to meet up around the end of November 2008.

Aaron Main (he signed his email "Buck")

I have his email and phone number if the mp group feels he needs to be heckeled. It could have gotten lost in the mail, but I never heard from him that he didn't get it.

What's all this about Private Investigators giving people rashes? I hired a Private Investigator one time and although he wasn't Jim Rockford or Magnum, he sure didn't give me a rash! You people are being very judgemental .... (whisper, whisper) .... What's that? They're talking about......OH.

Nevermind.

So Lee, didn't I just get a message from you that said you have PI all over your legs? I hope she's a hot one. :-)

I'm still clear. Got a funky spot on my hip but I think that's just road rash.

Rich, I won't have enough time to climb up there after work on Friday.

Nope, it's Miss Marple. Sigh.

No worries. I'm heading up there with a friend tomorrow morning. We'll check it out and report back.

Get Smart

was great! The OW isn't very hard, maybe 5.9, harder for those with small hands. You can certainly stem/layback your way around all of it. But for those of us who are into these sorts of things, I found the OW section to be pretty good. Good place to practice the basic moves. A few arm-bars, a few good knee-locks, and a few constrictions to move around.

So I'd call it 30 feet of OW, followed by 50-60 feet of excellent crack climbing. I don't know if that's enough to justify a Tuesday night session, but it's definitely worth the hike if you're looking for a good route.

I plan on making it down, work load permitting. However, I'm unfamiliar with the Flatirons and will probably get lost on the way to the crag.

When should we meet? We seem to get caught dark most Tuesdays, suggesting earlier. But people work, and 5 can be tough as it is...

Does 5 work? Earlier? Later?

ALL REMEMBER HEADLAMPS.

GEAR: I'll bring a rope. Tony, does 60 meters suffice or should I bring the 70?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
