What on a TR. Josh I know you can lead that. Where are the pictures of someone leading it. Don't tell me it was all on a TR.

The surgery went well, I guess. At least that's what I'm told, but I won't know for a long time, really. The knee is presently in an immobilizing brace when I'm not on my back with it hooked up to a funky machine that moves it up and down for me. Does it count for anything that I've lead it twice? This was an interesting retirement of my right knee- call it a "going away party." It was my "window of opportinity" between taking the cast off of the broken left hand (after 3 weeks) and before the knee (ACL/Meniscus) got fixed. Anyway, it was as fun of a send-off as I could have asked for. So thanks again for the fun times & the nice pictures! But didn't anyone get one of the horizontal knee bar? I'd love to see a shot of that!!! I think it was good rest beta! Anyway, call me again next summer and I'll come back out. 6 months to get back to activities, and a few more to get strong again.

Bubb, is this what the coercive power of the state is for? What do you say for yourself? As for the laws, Shawn, you pass em. I just follow em... well, OK, most of em. That deal was based on voluntary participation and cooperation. I got a pitch in, they got some humor... except for Josh, who got the marathon belay session. (Thanks again Josh!) No matter- now I'm flat on my back and hooked to a machine now- subject more to the laws of physiology than the laws of the state.

Stcitches in the meniscus, hamstring to replace the ACL. I have a few less muscles in that group now, I guess, but I'm told my body will adjust. The Patela tendon thing seems out of favor with most docs now.

I'm pretty sure that guy has sent it two different ways. I think you have to be pretty skinny to get the right side in thing to work. If anyone is still working on their Halloween costume you could repeat the approach depicted above and be a "motorcycle crash survivor".
How about you Dan? Josh? No TRs next time around!

If this is an open call to arms still I'd love to join and have a shot at this thing. Looks like good training for the Valley.

Yeah, come on out. I could probably get there around 4 if anyone else would be up for an earlier start. It gets dark out by 7:30.

Well, Shawn, you won't be hyperventilating in the slot - it's so tight in that thing! Bring the long sleeve and steal beta from Josh, he cruised it.

No Umph for me obviously, but 8 people gathered at thew S. Sun after, and I made it to that. Good times. Lynn Lambert gave it a shot this week, so they had a token keebler elf up there again!

5.8....yeah right. The thing is this feels so hard because most of us don't climb offwidths much. I've probably done a handful in my life. If you have the technique you can probably hike it...still not without a fight though. I tried to onsight this, but got soundly defeated. Couldn't get that chicken wing going on the upper section of the route. Looks like I'll have to go a few more rounds.
