Rumney Fundraiser

There is a blueberry pancake breakfast scheduled for Saturday, August 18th in the big parking lot to raise money for anchor replacements at Rumney. All proceeds will benefit the RCA anchor replacement efforts. All of the blueberries are organic and quite tasty. Come eat some pancakes, donate a few bucks and then use that good karma to send your dream project. There is quite a bit more info in the NECLIMBS.COM forum, but you can ask questions here. Hi guys I just wanted to update you, the fundraiser went very well, we raised $773 for the Rumney Climber's Association anchor and bolt replacement efforts and signed a lot of people onto the e-mail list. Big thanks go to Mike Garrity for organizing the event, donating the blueberries, pancake mix, stoves, fuel, syrup and time to the event. The Calm Post Cafe also donated coffee and homemade trail bars, and did not recieve any breakfast business yesterday morning. Other volunteers flipping the cakes all morning were myself, Arthur Keyas and Emanuel (E-Man.) Can't wait for next year.
