Description
Located high above the small coastal town of Medveja, you can see a grouping of grey and orange cliffs. This is the Medveja crag. It's composed of five different walls that offer everything from sharp vertical tech to severely overhanging testpieces. All of the walls face south, making this a good destination from late autumn through early spring. There is also a small wall called Nad Kampon that has a dozen easy routes, which is accessed from the campground in town.
Getting There
From the town of Lovran, wind your way up Cesta za Lovransku Dragu towards the town of Tuliševica for approximately 6km. The parking area for the crag is located just past Tuliševica on the left side of the road at 45.277097, 14.255871. There is a small white sign for Oraj right where you turn to park. There are also 3 or 4 parking spots a little farther down the road toward Oraj, which are located under some power lines. These spots are right near the approach trail. Just past the powerlines, look for a trail heading downhill to the right. The trail follows the powerlines for a 100m or so before heading left to Stribog, the first wall that you will encounter.
