Description Suggest change

Large standalone boulder next to Island Highway. On a good year, hopefully only half-covered in graffiti.  Topo from Dr. Topo archives can be downloaded here: https://shaunclimbon.ca/wp-content/uploads/2004/07/Big-Rock-Guide.pdf

Problems are listed left to right (counter-clockwise) starting from the left-side of the South face.

NOTE: Due to the seasonally changing nature of the base of the boulder (winter tides) some sit starts may not be available some years.  The base of the East and North faces seem to vary the most season to season.

Getting There Suggest change

Leave Campbell River via the [old] Island Highway due South and pull over when you see the obvious and only large boulder on the sea-side of the highway.
