Description
The massive, orange to blue wall on your right as you enter the canyon / bowl. Shaded (a bit of sun in the spring / summer mornings) and vert to slightly overhanging. There are shorter moderates near the entry and a host of full length 5.12's through the middle and then a pocket of 13's towards the left where the stone is a bit more compact.
The longer routes grant you the special experience of leaving the ground with ~25 draws on your harness - having a few slings or tactically back cleaning can help your rope to run almost completely plumb and minimizes rope drag. Most of the longer routes are climbed as a single pitch and have a midway anchor placed so that your belayer can lower you from the top to the midway with a 70m rope. An 80m rope is nice for the 'shorter' long routes on the left side.
