Description
A small cluster of sandstone boulders just off the Howard Creek Trail. The rock quality is generally poor, but there are a few gems that are worth the effort. The boulders sit on a ridge with late afternoon sun exposure and usually have a nice breeze.
Getting There
Park at the Howard Creek trailhead (first major dirt pullout on the south side of Rose Valley Road; do not block the gate to the active quarry). Walk up the quarry road and take the Howard Creek Trail until you see the boulders. The approach is approximately 15 minutes from car to boulders.
