Description

This relatively unknown area rises from an elevated area between The Liebacks and SunWall. Four climbs, one a tough top rope, are definitely worth checking out, especially if you've climbed most of the routes in the area and want to climb something new. These climbs generally follow steep crack systems and are quite physical.

Getting There

The easiest and most logical way to hike to the base area of High Caliber Corridor. Head east past a small pine tree. A short easy fifth class step rises from the faint trail and access to a traverse across the rim to the east. follow cairns. Climb a short 4th class groove Go up right until a jumble of boulders make the going more difficult. A careful scan of the cliff below an attractive pinnacle, will locate one set of anchors the first of which serves three routes further along a second anchor serves "The Smoking Room". A short rappel from either anchor lead to cool elevated base areas.
